I’m Michelle — Mom of 2, coffee lover, amateur florist, watercolour enthusiast and long time Thrifter!

Sunday Morning Thrift is all about capturing the laid-back Sunday morning experience; slowly browsing through the local thrift store, coffee in hand, looking for the perfect piece of clothing to add to your closet.

After over 15 years of thrifting clothes for myself, I’m excited to share this experience with you!

Why do I love to shop secondhand?

• I want to reduce my carbon footprint and take better care of our planet by making more intentional purchases and giving clothes a second life

• I want to rebel against the fast fashion industry and the waste it generates (92 million tonnes of textiles waste is produced every year)

• I feel like shopping secondhand helps you develop your own style (as opposed to following fast fashion trends) and select unique pieces that you really love to add to your closet and keep for a long time

• It provides the opportunity to purchase quality pieces of clothing at accessible prices
